Подробнее...Tsarskoselskaya amber workshop is carrying out restoration works in the Hermitage pavilion for the SMP "Tsarskoye Selo". One of the most glorious pavilions of the Catherine park is getting ready for the summer season and tourists.
The Hermitage pavilion in the Regular park of Tsarskoye Selo was originally designed by Mikhail Zemtsov. The laying of the foundation began in the spring of 1744 and was completed by autumn that same year. In 1749, however, the facades were reconstructed by Rastrelli.

During the Second World War the facade and the interior of the Hermitage pavilion were seriously damaged. The first restoration works of the facade and the roof 1951-1956. In 1973 the more serious and deep restoration works began in the Hermitage pavilion according to the project by A.A. Kedrinsky. In 1984-1985 wooden carvings, gildede elements together with the mechanism of lifting the tables. Since 2006 till 2010 major restoration of the facades and interiors was carried out.

Starting from 2017 LLC Tsarskoselskaya amber workshop has been restoring the interior of the Hermitage pavilion in order to open it in time for the summer season.
